If a job is going to cost in excess of £500, up to a 50% deposit may be requested at the start of the job. The remaining balance would then be due upon completion of the work.
If a job is completed and the invoice is not paid within a 12 month period, the work and everything connected to it become the property of Barley Pit Works.
Completed works will be posted no later than 10 days after receipt of payment.
If you are unhappy with any part of your purchase due to manufacture defects/ construction issues, you can simply return it and we will either repair it or replace the parts.
Returns must be made within 32 days of original purchase and in the SAME condition as supplied, this means NOT altered/ modified in any way.
Return postage to Barley Pit Works is paid by the purchaser, as per the distance selling act. Barley Pit Works will pay for the return postage back to the customer as is also part of the distance selling act.
If kit parts are returned to us started without our prior agreement, the parts will not be covered by our guarantee and therefore will not be replaced free of charge. The returned started parts will also not be returned to you, unless the return postage is paid for, up front and in full.
If a repair is returned to us and you have attempted to alter/ modify the model following our work, the model will not be covered in the guarantee and will not be fixed free of charge.
This guarantee does not cover damage to the part or model due to careless handling, operator misuse or substandard railway infrastructure.
All of your normal distance selling rights still apply.
